PhenoSoy
Soybean is a vital protein source, and the Swiss breeding program of Agroscope/DSP focuses on developing locally adapted varieties.
This project aims to integrate UAV, genomic, and environmental data into the breeding workflow. In collaboration with HIPHEN and ETH Zurich,
robust image processing and multi-environment genomic prediction models
will be developed to support early selection of high-yielding,
high-protein lines. The project is funded by the Federal Office for
Agriculture (FOAG) and strengthens Agroscope/DSP’s capacity for
data-driven, collaborative variety development using cutting-edge
phenotyping and modeling tools.
